February 2025 Recap!
February was a beautiful first full month of the semester! This month was filled with fun events to kick off the semester and meet everyone. If you missed any of our events, take a look below to get a quick debrief ⬇️
GBM 1: We drew into RUWIB by playing Pictionary at our first GBM of the semester! This was such a fun friendly competition while getting to meet new people in our teams. We enjoyed great company, laughter, and of course some delicious food! Our winning team received an RUWIB tote bag with some goodies :)
PWC Office Visit: RUWIB had an amazing opportunity to visit PWC’s office in NYC! We got to get a tour of their beautiful office, hear from the amazing individuals who work there, and get a taste of working at PWC.
Galentine’s Day Event: February is the month of love! RUWIB had to celebrate with our Galentine’s Day Event where each person got to find their perfect match. With our exciting and unique icebreaker event, everyone got to find their compatible partner and spend the event with them. It was a great event to meet new friends & enjoy Valentine’s Day treats!
A Service of Love: February is the month of love! We spent time showing appreciation for the workers of local hospitals and police departments. This was a fun and exciting event to give back and unleash some creativity.
Leadership Training: Baker Tilly, EY, and Moody’s joined RUWIB for our Leadership Training Event. Throughout this workshop, we had the opportunity to enhance our leadership skills, public speaking, and executive presence. The insightful sessions provided valuable strategies for professional growth and effective communication. This was an amazing event and we are so grateful for this opportunity to improve leadership skills!
Volunteering with Fransican Charities: RUWIB had the pleasure of volunteering with Franciscan Charities. It was an incredible opportunity to give back and make a positive impact on our local community. We’re proud to have contributed to such a meaningful cause and to support those in need.
Finra Info Session: RUWIB had an amazing opportunity to learn and connect with Finra. We gained valuable insights into the finance industry and explored exciting career opportunities. Thank you to FINRA and everyone who joined us for this informative session.
